One week after Jaleel Johnson, Manny Rugamba and Keith Duncan were named B1G players of the week for their performance against Michigan, Iowa had two more players earn the designation, with running back LeShun Daniels earning co-offensive player of the week, and Riley McCarron getting the nod for special teams player of the week.
Daniels carried the ball 26 times for 159 yards and 2 scores in a 28-0 win over the Illini. He did things like this to earn the honor:

He didn’t even get touched.
This is the first time either player has been named a B1G POTW. Good job by both of them, and let’s hope we get a few guys to earn the designation next week against Nebraska to finish the season out strong.
