Look, it’s the second half game thread for a game that isn’t even remotely close.
Iowa threw 21 points on the Boilermakers in the first quarter, while Purdue had three full drives and went 3-and-out on two of them. Iowa’s three scores were courtesy of a 1-yard run by LeShun Daniels, a scramble by CJ Beathard, and a pass from CJB to Riley McCarron.
In the second quarter? No one really seemed to want to play football for the first half, but then LeShun Daniels scored his second touchdown from four yards out. Purdue quickly answered with a 25-yard TD pass with a minute and a half left. AND THEN on the first play from scrimmage on the next Iowa drive, Akrum Wadley went 75-yards to the house.
Iowa 35, Purdue 7 at the half.
Usual rules apply.
