Is this the week that Iowa finally puts it all together and turns into the Iowa team that everyone expected to see? Some weeks, we’ve seen a competent passing game (although it’s been hard-pressed to say that since Matt VandeBerg went down), some weeks, the running game is brilliant, and others, the defense holds it down. But the Hawkeyes haven’t put it all together in the same game since the Iowa State game.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Purdue tries to win consecutive conference games for the first time ever under Darrell Hazell. That’s, uh, not great. They haven’t been victorious against Iowa since a 27-24 victory at Kinnick in 2012. Maybe this is the year they finally are somewhat competent? We’ll find out today.
