One Big Ten contender down, on to the next?

Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

Tuesday night was awesome. Beating Michigan State for the first time in ages was incredibly satisfying. The fact that the Spartans were ranked #1 too only made it even sweeter. Alas, we can't bask in the glow of that win indefinitely -- Iowa has 17 more Big Ten conference games to play and there, starting with tonight's doozy against Purdue in West Lafayette. Purdue has looked like one of the top teams in the Big Ten all season and with Denzel Valentine's injury knocking Michigan State down a peg or two, they may even be the best team in the league right now. They'll be a very stiff test for the Hawkeyes.

The game tips off at 5 PM CT, with TV coverage from BTN.
