We're just hours away now from the game that we've been waiting years -- hell, decades -- for: Iowa in the Rose Bowl. It's really happening, you guys.
Later today, Iowa will suit up and take on the Stanford Cardinal in the Rose Bowl for a chance to make even more history in a season that's already broken records left and right and set all new benchmarks for success. A win today would be Iowa's first in the Rose Bowl since the 1959 Rose Bowl. It would lock up Iowa's first-ever 13-win season, as well as Iowa's first top-5 finish in the final polls in over 50 years. The number of Iowa coaches who have won a Rose Bowl would expand from one (Forest Evashevski) to two: Evy and Ferentz. And a team of Hawkeyes would go down as legends, never to be forgotten.
Let's do this.
