CFB: I Love The '80s!

David Manning-USA TODAY Sports

More games!  More football!  The pick of the litter among B1G games is Nebraska-Miami, rekindling one of the greatest rivalries of the '80s.  Alas, Mike Riley is no Tom Osborne and Al Golden is no Jimmy Johnson (or Dennis Erickson).  Still, maybe it will at least be a good game.  In other B1G action, Purdue tries to make Virginia Tech 0-2 against Big Ten teams this year (they will likely fail), while Northern Illinois tries to add Ohio State to their collection of Big Ten scalps (they will certainly fail).  And if you like points, tune your TV (or laptop) to Western Kentucky-Indiana -- there should be points aplenty in that contest.

The best action in the afternoon window looks to be outside the Big Ten, with LSU-Auburn and Georgia Tech-Notre Dame both holding quite a bit of promise for high-quality thrills.  So sit back and watch some more football -- we're only a few hours away from Iowa taking the field.
