IOWA'S NEWEST QUARTERBACK SIGNEE SHINES FOR TEAM USA. Team Canada wasn't much of a challenge for Team USA in yesterday's International Bowl. Ryan Boyle, Iowa 2015 recruiting class singee, startedat QB for Team USA and offensive coordinator Dick Olin (Drew Tate's step-dad). Boyle got off to a rough start with an early interception but bounced back to finish 10-21 for 91 yards and two TDs. He added 33 yards rushing the ball and even had a pancake block.

Boyle's first TD was a throwback to Drew Tate.

And here he lays out a 300 pound defensive tackle.

FOUR HAWKEYES WILL PARTAKE IN THE UPCOMING NFL COMBINE. NFL Combine invites went out last week and Iowa's Brandon Scherff, Carl Davis, Louis Trica-Pasat and Andrew Donnal will participate in the week long test for NFL prospects. Another former Hawk, A.J. Derby, will participate as a tight end.

IOWA FOOTBALL WRAPPED UP ANOTHE RECRUITING CLASS. We had wall-to-wall coverage here at the BHGP. See what Iowa's new recruiting coordinator, Seth Wallace, said about Iowa's efforts on the recruiting trail. Wallace took over for Eric Johnson last spring. The Hawks have two verbal commits for the 2016 class. Both from Wisconsin. Both recruited by Wallace.

IOWA HAD THE OUTLAND TROPHY WINNER IN 2014. Brandon Scherff won the award given to the best lineman in all of college football. Iowa can also boast as the alma-mater for the best offensive lineman in the NFL too. Former Hawk Marshall Yanda earned the Bruce Mathews Award this past week.

IT'S A HUGE DAY FOR HAWKEYE SPORTS. Iowa Wrestling takes on Penn State on the BTN at noon. Iowa Men's Hoops takes on #17 ranked Maryland in Carver (Iowa is a 6 point favorite). Also, Lisa Bluder's squad heads to Wisconsin to for a 2 PM tip against the Badgers. Stick around BHGP today. We'll talk about it all.
