Awesome experience at the NFL combine. Representing the Hawkeyes as best as I can. Great support from you all. God Bless you all.

LAST YEAR. We noted some of Iowa's player's past performances at the NFL Combine. We looked mostly at interior offensive linemen. Since Scherff didn't complete most of the drills it's hard to compare him to Robert Gallery, the last Hawkeye lineman to be a top 10 pick. But, we can see how Gallery did and note his 4.98 40-yard dash. Gallery got Scherff by one rep in the bench press .
IOWA FOOTBALL HAS UPDATED THE ROSTER. There's newly listed weights to peruse, if that's your thing. After a quick glance, it's good to see Iowa's projected tackles both at 300 pounds. Also, Cole Croston is inching closer to the 300 pound mark. Matt Nelson, red-shirt freshman defensive end is up to 270 (look out Nate Meier), and sophomore tight end Jon Wisniewski is up to 247 pounds at tight end.
THE IOWA MEN TAKE ON ILLINOIS. Two teams with identical records (17-10) face off in Carver Wednesday night. Iowa is coming off of two wins in a row over bottom feeder Rutgers and a dead Nebraska team. Illinois has lost two straight to Wisconsin and Michigan State. It's an important game for Big Ten Tournament seeding.
