Can Iowa score the biggest win of the Fran McCaffery Era and beat #1-ranked Michigan State?

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

Nothing like starting off Big Ten play with a bang, right? Not only does Iowa get to play one of the top teams in the Big Ten -- both this year and over the last few decades -- but they get to play the #1-ranked team in the nation. No better way to make a statement, both in the conference and nationally, than with a win here. Iowa also gets another chance to defeat the program that's been their biggest nemesis since Fran took charge of Iowa -- the Spartans have won nine straight over Iowa and 14 of the last 15 (!) against Iowa. It's time to end those streaks.

The game tips off at 8 PM CT, with TV coverage from BTN.
