COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF 2015: IOWA CRACKS THE TOP FOUR

With two games left to play, the Hawkeyes are ranked No. 4 in the 2015 College Football Playoff rankings.

On Saturday, we watched Iowa go to 11-0 for the first time in Hawkeye history and clinch the Big Ten West title.

On Sunday, we saw Iowa move to No. 3 in the AP and Coaches polls, their highest ranking since 2002.

Today, Tuesday evening, we heard the College Football Playoff committee tell the world that Iowa is No. 4 in the nation—that if the playoffs were today, Iowa would be in.

There's still some momentary roughness to come, as No. 3 Oklahoma and No. 11 Oklahoma State will face each other this week, as will No. 9 Stanford and No. 6 Notre Dame. OU might be out of reach with a win, and Stanford-Notre Dame's winner might get a one-week bump. But with a game against either No. 5 Michigan State or the winner of No. 8 Ohio State-No. 10 Michigan awaiting in the Big Ten Championship, the 13-0 Hawkeyes will have their signature victory, and will not be kept out.

It doesn't matter what ESPN's gasbags have to say. It doesn't matter what some stooge on Twitter complains about. We're No 4. All we have to do is win, and we're in.

Let's party. Get naked. Go Iowa Awesome.
