Iowa started well, blazing out to an early 20-0 lead behind a pair of LeShun Daniels touchdowns and a VandeBerg touchdown reception. Then things went a little sideways as Purdue turned a short field after a bad punt into a touchdown and a turnover (a Beathard fumble) into a field goal right before half.
