Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Illinois Fighting Illini: Start Time, TV Coverage, How to Watch Online, Odds

What you need to know to watch today's game.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Trap game.  Letdown game.  Sandwich  game.  Call it what you want, there are plenty of reasons to be nervous as Iowa plays Illinois later today.  Not to mention the fact that Iowa will be playing without their best wide receiver and (seemingly) their best left tackle.  Yes, Iowa won a week ago against a tougher opponent (Wisconsin), in a tougher environment (Camp Randall).  But last week's win was hardly a blueprint that can -- or should -- be followed regularly.

Iowa should win this game.  They're a better team than Illinois and they're at home.  But Illinois is certainly good enough to punish Iowa if they play poorly or give Illinois easy opportunities.  Iowa can't be basking in the glow of last week's big win over Wisconsin or their return to the Top 25 rankings.  They can't be looking ahead to a possible huge showdown with Northwestern next week.  Focus on Illinois.  Play smart.  Get to 6-0.
