EARLY GAMES OPEN THREAD

Week 2 college football truly gets underway.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Football, football, gotta get yer football.  Iowa's clash with Ball State doesn't get underway until mid-afternoon.  The early slate of games doesn't look heavy on good games -- if close, competitive action is what you're looking for, at least.  If you're looking to see teams get the ever-loving crap kicked out of them, though, have we got a set of games for you...

Oh, and if you want to scout Iowa's opponent next week -- or just get in some of the schadenfreude you missed while Iowa was playing UNI last week -- well Bill Snyder is wizarding his forces into Ames to take on Iowa State. This could get ugly.
