AFTERNOON GAMES OPEN THREAD

The Iowa game is in the books, but the college football day goes on.

Eric Francis

The Iowa game may be over, but college football's first full day of the season is far from over.  Frankly, the afternoon slate is pretty underwhelming, at least until Georgia and Clemson get underway in a few hours.  Your best bets 'til then are Cal-Northwestern and Alabama-West Virginia... or hoping that one of the matchups that look lopsided on paper (Nebraska-FAU, Rice-Notre Dame?) turn into unexpected upset opportunities.

Here's your open thread to discuss the afternoon action.  The usual rules apply: no links to illegal online streams, no porn, no politics, no religion, no slurs, etc. Don't be an ass.
