Football! It's baaaaack. Well, it was kind of back already -- Stephen F. Austin and Eastern Washington got the ball rolling last Saturday for our FCS friends and Georgia State and Abilene Christian played a wildly entertaining game last night to get things going for the FBS teams (well, sort of -- Abilene Christian is also an FCS squad). But football really gets truly underway tonight, with a host of games involving major conference teams.
Two Big Teams are in action tonight, Minnesota (hosting Eastern Illinois) and Rutgers (playing Washington State in Seattle). Can they get the Big Ten off to a 2-0 start? Probably not (we don't feel great about Rutgers traveling cross-country to take on Cap'n Leach's crew), but who knows! The best games are probably Texas A&M-South Carolina and Ole Miss-Boise State. Here's your open thread to chat about the games.
