IF YOU PLAYED SIGNIFICANT MINUTES LAST YEAR, THERE'S A GOOD CHANCE YOU ARE ON A WATCH LIST FOR AN AWARD. Several returning Hawkeyes made watch lists for season end awards this week. Junior center Austin Blythe was named to the Riminington Award Watch List given to the nation's top center.
Senior wide receiver Kevonte Martin-Manley was named to the Hornung Award Watch List given to the nation's top all-around player.
Senior running back Mark Weisman was named to the CFPA running back watch list for 2014.
And, senior defensive tackle Carl Davis was named to the Bednarik Award Watch List given to the nation's best defensive player.
DEVYN MARBLE UPDATE. He's played a couple of Summer League games so far for the Orlando Magic. He had a terrific debut scoring 13 points and adding three steals and two assists. Here's an interesting conversation among my Twitter friend and a Magic blogger:
@adammcginnis Fantastic on both ends at SF and SG. Faster than I expected. Nice handles in transition. I'd be shocked if he doesn't make it.

HOW ABOUT SOME PTL? The Prime Time League took their show on the road to Waterloo last week. We have video. Here's Aaron White, Peter Jok and Gabe Olaseni in action. Also, THROW IT DOWN BIG UTHOFF.
WRESTLING.
Tony Ramos continues his winning ways by winning 2014 Canada Cup in dominating fashion. His warmup tournament for 2014 World Championships.
