The podcast finally returns for another season, and with a bang: We're joined by O'Bannon economist, blogger, and all-around smart guy Andy Schwarz (@andyhre) to talk about the Sharknado of problems facing the NCAA. We discuss the Northwestern union case, the O'Bannon trial, Gary Barta's problems with properly paying his employees, and why you should always retain veto power over your own headlines. It's probably the smartest podcast we've done since that Morning Zoo parody years ago.
You can read Andy's work at Sportsgeekonomics, or catch his occasional Gary Barta bashing at Deadspin. And if you need an expert witness for an antitrust case, you can contact his firm, OSKR.
