IT'S NOT PLAGIARISM IF YOU LINK TO IT: THE FINAL LITTLE PIECES FROM MEDIA DAYS

The annual Big Ten meetings in Chicago are over but there's still plenty to talk about.

Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

THERE'S STILL SOME STUFF WE MISSED. Like this tidbit:

There's more video of Ferentz talking with a round table of the Hawkeye beat.

FERENTZ WILL BE ON ESPN TODAY.

THE BTN'S TOM DIENHART PICKS IOWA. At this time last year, Dienhart had Iowa pegged between four and seven wins and at the bottom of the Legends Division. Now, he's on the Hawkeye train as he believes Iowa is the team to beat in the Big Ten West.

THE HAWKEYES ARE #26 ACCORDING TO LINDY'S. The annual publication has the Hawks one spot outside of the Top 25 on their Top 40 list. Lindy's also believes Iowa can compete for the Big Ten West.

SPORTS ILLUSTRATED'S CHRIS JOHNSON SAYS IOWA COULD PLAY FOR THE WEST TITLE. He writes that Iowa has reason for optimism, most in part due to an easy schedule. He says the Hawkeyes may be "trending in the right direction."

SCHERFF HAS A MILLION DOLLAR INSURANCE POLICY. It will cost him $8K to provide some peace of mind. This link has lots of juicy details like that one. Including talk of alternative uniforms or talk of not holding your breath for Pro Combats.

FOOTBALL RECRUITING. Iowa missed out of Aca'Cedric Ware Monday night when he picked Southern Cal over Iowa, Ohio State and others. Another prospect Iowa is high on, James Daniels (LeShun's brother) will decide between Iowa and Ohio State tonight.

HOOPS RECRUITING.
