IT'S NOT PLAGIARISM IF YOU LINK TO IT: POSSIBLY A BIG WEEK FOR CREEPY CARING

Come to Iowa!?!?!

Matthew Holst

JULY 2ND COULD BE A BIG DAY FOR IOWA FOOTBALL. Could be but probably not. Big time football prospects Justin Hilliard and Jashon Cornell will announce their college choice on Wednesday.

Cornell has mentioned that he'd like to play with Hilliard. Both list Iowa in their final five choices. There's a Hawkeye "in" with both recruits. Hilliard's older brother C.J. will be part of the Iowa team this fall. Cornell worked out at his high school, Cretin Derham, with former Hawkeye Broderick Binns (Binns may have an offer to join the Iowa staff this fall as player personnel). According to the recruiting "experts," both appear to be an Ohio State lean with perhaps, Notre Dame in second.

LET'S USE OUR BEST TECHNOLOGY TO GET A FEEL ON IF THEY'LL SOON BE HAWKEYES. Hopefully, by now, you're aware of our Magic 8-ball, a tool to predict recruiting commits. We've used it before with both prospects and the results weren't favorable. The 8-ball is batting 100% with hoops recruits so let's hope it there's some error in these predictions.

Since we wanted a second opinion, we opted for another cosmic predictor. Allow me to introduce Black Heart Gold Pants' Recruiting Predicting Shaman. He's accurately predicted rain, floods and even the birth of tribe members in his home in the Brazilian rain forest. Let's see what he says about Hilliard and Cornell to Iowa:

There you have it. Doesn't look good.

HOOPS RECRUITING. Current Hawkeye verbal commit Andrew Fleming wants help recruiting 2015 forward prospect Samir Sehic to Iowa. Sehic is the #125 rated prospect in the recently released Rivals Top 150 for 2015. The Texas prospect currently has offers from Brown, Davidson, Princeton and New Mexico and others.

DEVYN MARBLE WILL WEAR THE #8 FOR THE ORLANDO MAGIC.
