IOWA CELEBRATES NORM PARKER'S LIFE. Saturday, in Kinnick Stadium, several Hawkeyes gathered to honor former Hawkeye defensive coordinator Norm Parker. Brendan Stiles, of Hawkeye Drive, was present and has a recap of the ceremony. He also has this video on his blog:

A HAWKEYE WALK-ON IS MOVING ON.

IOWA DOESN'T MAKE THE CUT FOR TOP RECRUIT JASHON CORNELL. He told ESPN his top teams over the weekend and Iowa doesn't make the list. He's also pals with Justin Hilliard, a top recruit that does include Iowa in his Top 5. Let's hope Cornell doesn't convince Hilliard they should play together.
