IT'S NOT PLAGIARISM IF YOU LINK TO IT: THE NBA DRAFT IS HERE

And Iowa has a potential draft pick.

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

ROY DEVYN MARBLE HAS BEEN WORKING HARD TO GET HERE. Tonight, we expect to hear his name in either the late first round or second round of the 2014 NBA Draft. Marble could be the first Hawkeye drafted since Adam Haluska was selected by the Hornets in the 2007 NBA Draft. He could join his father, Roy Sr., as a first round selection. Iowa's had only two first round selections (Ricky Davis 1998, Acie Earl 1993) since his dad and now agent B.J. Armstrong were taken in the first round of the 1989 NBA Draft.

Where might he end up? BT Powerhouse lists a top 5 landing spots, each in the draft's second round. The list includes the Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns.

NEXT YEAR, AARON WHITE COULD JOIN MARBLE IN THE LEAGUE. He'll work on his skills this Summer at the Durant Skills Camp. His invitation will also give him more exposure to NBA scouts. According to White, it's also good for Iowa:

"It's great for not only myself, but also for our school. We haven't had a guy like go to a go camp like that in a little while. it will be exposure for myself for the next level but also coming back to help obviously for my senior year and then continuing to put Iowa on the map.

"It's really a blessing coming from where I come from, first coming here, getting an invite like that. It's real special for me. I'm going to soak up everything I can. the top players in the country. Obviously one of the best players in the NBA will be teaching us. I'm really looking forward to it. "

ATHLON SPORTS NAME TWO HAWKEYES ON PRESEASON ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS. Brandon Scherff was named a second team offensive tackle. Davis, fourth team defensive tackle. The preseason accolades are adding up for both Scherff and Davis.

THE BIG TEN RELEASED AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT. Big Ten presidents want guaranteed four year scholarships, better medical insurance and higher stipends for athletes.
