Let's see what's what in Hawkeye news.

Reese Strickland-USA TODAY Sport

I HATE THE "ROUNDUP" TITLE. It's boring and uniMayinative. I'm sorry but it's all I got. Any-who, what's happening? Let's start with Hawkeye baseball. Iowa finished the regular season splitting a double-header with Purdue. The Hawkeyes finish 29-21 on the season and as Ross informed us earlier, they've earned the 8 seed in the Big Ten Tournament. Thanks to CornNation, we have the Big Ten Tournament bracket.

MEN'S GOLF PARTICIPATED IN THE NCAA REGIONALS. Things didn't go so well for the Hawkeyes. Iowa finished ninth after shooting +5 as a team for the 54-round tournament.

SEVERAL HAWKEYES GRADUATED OVER THE WEEKEND. Also, Congrats to James Morris for earning yet another post-graduate scholarship.

NFL MINICAMPS OPENED OVER THE WEEKEND. Several former Hawks are getting their shot in the league. Last week, following the NFL Draft, we heard that Tanner Miller would get picked up by the Packers. He did sign with Green Bay. Don Shumpert was with the Bears over the weekend getting a rookie tryout. Also with Shumpert, former Iowa kicker Mike Meyer was getting a chance with the Bears.

Some other Hawkeyes working out for teams include: A.J. Edds and Markus Zusevics with the N.Y. Jets, James Ferentz with the Houston Texans and Keenan Davis and James Vandenberg with the Carolina Panthers.

Also, C.J. Fiedorowicz has yet to sign with the Texans and Jordan Cotton is off to tryout for the CFL.

HOOPS NEWS. Former Hawkeye point guard Dean Oliver is moving up the coaching ranks.

ONE POWER POLL HAS IOWA #2. Collegebasketballtalk.com believes Wisconsin is the clear favorite for the Big Ten title next year. Number two may surprise you. CBBtalk likes our Hawkeyes.
