KIRK FERENTZ, GREG DAVIS AND PHIL PARKER ALL MET WITH THE MEDIA YESTERDAY. Iowa's spring session is winding down and the final spring press conference before the spring game includes Iowa's offensive and defensive coordinators. Kirk Ferentz spoke briefly before Davis and Parker took questions. We learned from the head man:
- Tight end Jon Wisnieski is out with injury, possibly an ACL injury?
- Ferentz was surprised by Eric Johnson's departure
- Ferentz found out Johnson was leaving last Friday
- Ferentz isn't in a hurry to replace Johnson and the search will begin after spring camp
- Players will be available before Saturday's game for autographs (1:15 pm)
- Ferentz will likely hire a new recruiting coordinator but position coaching experience is a plus

As you know, we typically have a summary using bullets. Today, we're going more in-depth. So, check back later for more on Iowa's coordinators.
THE PLAYERS SPOKE TOO. Morehouse has video of Reese Fleming, Jake Rudock, Brandon Scherff, Adam Cox and Mike Hardy on the On Iowa Blog. Fleming talks about competition at corner.
THERE'S BIG RECRUITING NEWS COMING TODAY. Willie Atwood will announce his college decision. Stick around, we'll have more on that in a little bit. For other Iowa recruiting news:
