It's Not Plagiarism If You Link To It: More Love For The Hawkeye Ladies

Congrats to Lisa Bluder. We know you have much more to accomplish.

Phil Sears-US PRESSWIRE

IOWA HAD A TRIBUTE TO LISA BLUDER FOLLOWING HER HISTORIC WIN.

ROSS TALKED ABOUT SAM LOGIC AS A POY CANDIDATE. Ho-hum. Just another player of the week award.

SO, LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS TEAM'S CONFERENCE TITLE HOPES FOR A MINUTE. We look weekly at the men's Big Ten Basketball standings. The ladies are in the hunt for a title too. It's a long shot but stranger things have happened.

LIKE THE MEN, IOWA IS JUST A COUPLE GAMES BACK (THE MEN MOVED TO 2.5 LAST NIGHT). Iowa defeated current league leader Penn State last week to split on the season. Penn State has a date with Nebraska on February 24th and that's the toughest test left of their regular season. Iowa needs some help. Root for the Nittany Lions to trip up on the road at Indiana or in their last game against Michigan.

The toughest test for Iowa will be against #23 Purdue on the road. Iowa still has two games on the schedule with bottom feeder Illinois and also play Michigan and Ohio State. The Hawks need to win out and hope to tie Penn State for the title. Michigan State is right there too and they will not play a team in the top half of the standings the rest of the conference season.

WE NOW KNOW THE TIMES FOR IOWA MEN'S FINAL TWO GAMES. Iowa's games with Purdue and Illinois in March will be televised by the Big Ten Network. The game with Purdue is March 1st and set for 7:15 PM CT. The game with Illinois is March 8th and tip is at 7:30 PM CT.

IOWA HOOPS IS FUN TO WATCH. Who doesn't love #LOBCITY? For a time on Saturday, "Devin Marble" was the #1 trending topic on Twitter. Also,

BILL O'BRIEN IS COMING. No, not to poach the coaching staff.

FOOTBALL RECRUITING.
