The big one among the early rivalry action is the latest iteration of The Game, with presumably lame duck Brady Hoke trying to spoil Ohio State's shot at the College Football Playoff. The undercard to that match features a clash between Illinois and Northwestern with more on the line than just pride and an oversized Monopoly piece -- the winner will become bowl-eligible, while the loser's season will be over. No pressure! Meanwhile, Indiana and Purdue are fighting over pride. And a bucket.
The non-B1G portion of Rivalry Week features some interesting clashes as well -- most notably, Georgia-Georgia Tech. Dig in -- it's the last (mostly) full college football Saturday of the year.
