LET'S GET RIGHT TO IT. After barely an arrest against Northwestern the arrest report is back. Thanks again to the folks at the University of Iowa Department of Safety. Here's the stats:
21 total arrests
- 4 signed out from holding cell
- 1 signed out from hospital
- 1 still at hospital
- 14 transported from holding cell to jail
- 1 taken straight to jail
AND SOME OF THE WORST:
You're going to need to bribe a little better than that.
Pickering, Benjamin Lee, 35 of Cedar Rapids, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1424 hours. Pickering attempted to enter the stadium without a ticket by handing the ticket taker a twenty dollar bill. Pickering was staggering through the gates and admitted drinking. Pickering refused PBT.
Rum was a popular choice.
Coughlin, Kathryn Ann, 25 of Cedar Falls, IA for Public Intox and Interference with Official Acts at 1456 hours. Coughlin approached officers while they were dealing with her boyfriend. Coughlin faced off with the officer and pushed back. Coughlin was told multiple times to leave. Coughlin slapped officer's hand and refused to go away. Coughlin also had a bottle of rum and a flask in her coat. Coughlin refused PBT.
Stroh, Andrew L, 59 OF South Beloit, IL for Public Intox at Lot 43 at 1455 hours. Stroh was having issues walking in Lot 43. Stroh had slurred speech, unsteady balance and did know where he was. Stroh admitted drinking beer. A bottle of rum was found on Stroh's person. Stroh refused PBT.
Let's see who vomited or shit themselves in public.
Kilian, Julia Carol, 20 of Iowa City, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1527 hours. Kilian was found passed out in a family restroom on the toilet with vomit all over her person. Kilian refused medical attention. Kilian smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech. Kilian refused PBT.

Fernandez, Francis Liam, 19 of Chicago, IL for Public Intox at 200 Block S Grand Avenue at 1540 hours. Fernandez was lying flat on his back and appeared to have soiled himself. Fernandez was unable to stand without assistance. Fernandez blew .203 PBT.
I assume he was "hitting his head" and probably the result of watching today's defense.
Milroy, Ryan David Arnold, 19 of Iowa City, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1600 hours. Other patrons pointed out Milroy. Milroy seemed upset and was hitting his hear on the wall while talking to his girlfriend. The girlfriend walked and away and Milroy grabbed her by the shoulders. Milroy admitted drinking. Milroy blew .095 PBT. Milroy was offered post PBT and he would blow a little and then inhale.
And finally, not sure if this person was listed:
Interesting to see police chase a guy in a suite who hollered to Iowa OC Greg Davis for not throwing the ball down field at half's end.— Scott Dochterman (@ScottDochterman) November 22, 2014
