WHAT'S WHAT? Well, Iowa heads East to take on the Maryland what's-their-names. This is a first. Iowa could get Derrick Willies back in some form. Kirk Ferentz he was back at practice. Fullback Macon Plewa returned from injury last week but he may be out again. On last night's radio show Dolph said Jordan Walsh has a chance to play.
PAT COVERED FERENTZ'S SNOOZEFEST. Following that, the players spoke too. Outside the press room Marc Morehouse interviewed several Hawkeyes and asked about the win over the Indiana and the trip to Maryland. Part I and II is all Ferentz. Part III is Mark Weisman, Greg Mabin and Quinton Alston. Part IV is Carl Davis, John Lowdermilk and Jordan Canzeri. And finally, Part V is Drew Ott, Kevonte Martin-Manley and Jake Rudock.

ROSS LINKED THE PAT ANGERER NFL RETIREMENT STORY. Two other former Hawks joined teams this week. Adam Gettis is getting a shot with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Julian Vandervelde is back with the Philadelphia Eagles.
IOWA HOOPS #21? That's what NBC Sports says. Maybe it's the sour taste from the end of last season but I just don't see it. But, good pub.
THE BTN RELEASED PRESEASON ALL-CONFERENCE BASKETBALL TEAMS. Aaron White was named to the second team.
RANDOM. Hey, he must coach America's Team.
Biggest reason why Blake Bortles is at the Bishop Kenny game is because Ricky Stanzi is now a BK coach. #TeamSideline pic.twitter.com/BDMzWNq4bY
