HOW ABOUT SOME GAME HIGHLIGHTS.
THERE'S PLENTY OF MORE POST-GAME VIDEO STUFF. Marc Morehouse, of the Cedar Rapids Gazette, has vids of Kirk Ferentz and players on his On Iowa blog. Jake Duzey, Quinton Alston and next man-in Tommy Gaul are in post number one. In post two there's Tevaun Smith, Jonathan Parker and Jordan Lomax. Finally, in post three, there's Jake Rudock and C.J. Beathard.
FROM QB CONTROVERSY TO RIGHT GUARD CONTROVERSY? There's no question Jake Rudock was the better quarterback on the day Saturday. Iowa had starting right guard Jordan Walsh go down with an ankle injury in the game's first drive. He was replaced by Austin Blythe who slid over when Tommy Gaul enter to play center. The severity of Walsh's injury will be determined over the next few days. If he can't go, or hell, even if he can, this guy hopes they stick with Gaul and Blythe.
IOWA DID HOST A BIG TIME RECRUIT. But, it's likely just a trip to see his bro.
