The early action is done -- time to see what the afternoon holds in terms of college football thrills and chills. The Big Ten isn't offering much of interest -- just a battle between the Big Ten's best (Michigan State) and one of its worst (Purdue). The real intrigue is elsehwere, like a pair of battle of unbeatens (Auburn-Mississippi State, TCU-Baylor) and a do-or-die game between 1-loss teams (Oregon-UCLA). Those games ought to provide some fireworks.
