Man, one can get used to this.

FRAN'S TEAM GOT THE JOB DONE.

IOWA LOOKED SLEEPY THE FIRST HALF. Except for Josh Oglesby, who lit up Carver-Hawkeye with his hot shooting from beyond the three point line. In the second half, Iowa put 53 points on the Gophers behind Roy Devyn Marble and Aaron White's contributions. The Hawks will be moving up in the polls to release today. Currently, Iowa is the top rated Big Ten team by Kenpom at #4. Iowa's opponent Wednesday night, Michigan, checks in at #14 in Kenpom's rankings.

ONCE AGAIN, THE NATION TAKES NOTICE.

LISA BLUDER'S TEAM GOT THEIR FIRST WIN IN COLUMBUS SINCE THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS WERE COOL.

THE HAWK LADIES GOT OUT TO A HOT START AND HELD ON TO WIN. It's Iowa first win in Columbus since 1998. Freshman Ally Disterhoft recorded her first start as a Hawkeye and dropped 24 points and added 10 boards for a double-double. Iowa survived a late Buckeye rally to win 81-74. The ladies return to action Saturday when they host Indiana.

HAWKEYE WRESTLING TAKES DOWN THE 'SKERS.

FINALLY, A SHOUT OUT TO OUR LITTLE BROTHER IOWA STATE. They've had a rough week with both their men's and women's basketball teams losing all over the place. But, here's something to celebrate! Great job ISU! Finally, that one year John Fox put in under Jim Criner is really paying off.
