The NBA playoffs are done (congrats, Heat) and the NHL playoffs have wrapped up too (congrats, Blackhawks), so we're officially entering the dog days of summer, when our sporting evenings are filled with nothing but baseball, baseball, and more baseball. Welp. It's OK, it's OK -- football will be back before we know it. We can survive this.
In the meantime, tonight offers a distraction from the American pastime: the 2013 NBA Draft! This is widely regarded as one of the weakest drafts in recent memory, with seemingly no sure-fire stars available and a host of guys whose profiles are full of "yeah, but..." Which is always what you want to see when you're about to invest millions of dollars and the hope of your fans in someone, right? On the other hand, that lack of standout starpower has also made it one of the most unpredictable drafts in recent memory, with absolutely no consensus on who will get picked first or how things will play out. So that could be fun.
As always, though, we watch to see if someone will top Joakim Noah's immaculate draft day outfit from 2007:

SPOILER ALERT: They won't.
Anyway, the draft is on ESPN beginning at 6pm CT, although I imagine NBATV will have coverage of it as well, if you'd prefer to watch their crew. Beyond that, there's baseball. And whatever other summer programming catches your fancy.
The usual rules apply. Be good.
