INPIYLTI: It's Iowa State Next For Iowa Hawkeye Men And Women's Hoops

Bring on the Clones.

Reese Strickland-USA TODAY Sport

LADIES FIRST. The Hawkeye women will take on Iowa State in Ames on Thursday night. Lisa Bluder has never won in Hilton as the head Hawkeye coach. It could be Hilton Magic or it could just be that Cyclone coach Bill Fennelly is a good coach and always has strong teams. Fennelly admits his team will have a challenge with the high scoring Hawkeyes. Lisa Bluder's team is excited for this match-up. Like the men, both teams are ranked in the AP Top 25. Iowa is #21 and Iowa State #17.

FRIDAY NIGHT THE MEN PLAY. Like the ladies, the Cy-Hawk match-up in Ames will pair two AP Top 25 teams. Iowa leads the all-time series with the Cyclones 43-23 and were the winners of this rivalry game last season in Iowa City. Iowa's going to need their bench depth to beat the Cyclones. Also, Melsahn Basabe will have to continue to Melsizzle to pull off the win in a tough road venue.

FRAN'S SQUAD PUT AWAY FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON MONDAY NIGHT. Fran talked about the team's win and looking to Iowa State.

MORE MORRIS.

DAT DEFENSE.

DON'T EXPECT TOO MANY TO PREDICT AN IOWA UPSET OF LSU. The bowl previews are rolling out and well, Iowa sucks, again. The early lines do have Iowa a seven point dog, the second biggest spread (Nebraska is +9.5). The mothership put together this pretty predictions page but only one expert picks the Hawks. ESPN thinks the Outback is a Top 10 bowl game to watch. Athlon ranks it a little lower.

TICKETS ARE SELLING WELL. As of Monday afternoon...
