HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
OH GOD
HOW DID IOWA WIN THAT GAME
WHY DID IOWA WIN THAT GAME
WE'RE ALL LAUGHING LIKE WALTER WHITE IN THE CRAWLSPACE BUT THEN WE FOUND THE SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS
I, uh... I honestly don't even know what to say about that game. The second half was a horrific mess and it was a blessing that it didn't end with Iowa losing by double-digits, because that's how swiftly and forcefully the momentum had swung in Northwestern's favor.
But hey, give Iowa credit: the defense never bowed, especially in the do-or-die situations. The "Kain Colter runs around until something good happens" strategy wasn't good enough in OT, and hey, that means a win for the good guys.
And holy CRAP that Rudock-to-Fiedorowicz touchdown to win it. When the pass was in the air I was already thinking "WELL GREAT ANOTHER DRIVE PISSED DOWN THE COLLECTIVE LEG" until Fiedorowicz ran under it, just as had been planned, and welp, all right!
Play nice in the comments, dance, laugh, revel. Iowa has surpassed its win total from last season, and it's still October. Kirk Ferentz won a close game. Things are good.
