THE MEGA MILLION CRAZE MAY BE OVER BUT I ASK, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH $3,808? That's exactly how much money Iowa banked after their trip to Phoenix for the Insight.com Bowl. Iowa sold 1,156 more tickets than the year prior. After the cost of unused tickets were added along with Iowa's budget they ended with the huge payday of the previously mentioned $3.8 K's.

MATT BOWEN IS TALKING MEMORIES. Okay, maybe he's breaking down Marvin McNutt and his infamous 7-got-6 against Michigan State in 2009. Bowen breaks down the coverage and McNutt's duties as a wide receiver against Michigan State's defense. There's also some links to previous Bowen articles on McNutt as an NFL prospect.

SPEAKING OF MCNUTT. Charlie Campbell, writer at WalterFootball.com, calls McNutt one of his offensive sleepers in the upcoming NFL draft. Campbell cites consistency and big play production from McNutt over the course of his Hawkeye career. He also believes Marvin is deceptively quick and his forty-yard dash is solid for his size.

NFL NETWORK'S MIKE MAYOCK SAYS RILEY REIFF IS OVERVALUED RIGHT NOW. Mayock continues to have Reiff as his number two rated offensive tackle prospect but believes he's a better value picked in the 20's of the upcoming NFL draft. Mayock said of Reiff,

"To me, he's a little bit overvalued right now. You keep seeing him in the top 10 in a lot of mocks. I don't see that. I feel much more comfortable taking him somewhere in the 20s."

FOOTBALL RECRUITING NEWS. Iowa offered a scholarship to Zayd Issah, a 6'3" 205 pound athlete from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Iowa also hosted a visit from Nate Bossory. Nate is a 6'3" 220 pound pro-style quarterback from Manchester, Michigan. Bossory has yet to receive an offer from Iowa.

FRAN MCCAFFERY WILL HAVE SOME VISITORS ON MAY 5TH. Per The Recruit Scoop,

Who are these guys? Darius Austin is a 6'6" small forward from Cahokia, Illinois. Peyton Allen is a 6'5" shooting guard from Chatham, Illinois. Darreon Reddick is a 6'3" shooting guard from Belleville, Illinois. CJ Rivers is a 6'3" point guard also from Cahokia.
