So there's been some pretty entertaining football today. OSU-Michigan and PSU-Wisconsin? Sure, in that sloppy-exciting B1G way. Baylor-Texas Tech and Oklahoma-Oklahoma State? Great, especially if you like point orgies. Florida-Florida State was pretty good, too, and hell, if you like football snuff films, there was always Alabama-Auburn, too.
Luckily, there's a pretty decent slate of games on tap for tonight, too:
BIG TEN GAMES
Nada. It's November, after all.
GAMES FROM OTHER, LESSER LEAGUES
#8 Stanford at #17 UCLA (FOX, on now)
Missouri at #9 Texas A&M (ESPN2, on now)
Mississippi State at Ole Miss (ESPNU, on now) EGG BOWL~!
#12 South Carolina at #11 Clemson (ESPN, on now)
#1 Notre Dame at USC (ABC, 7pm CT)
Louisiana Tech at San Jose State (ESPN2, 9:30pm CT)
Yes, Lane Kiffin (or Lame Kitten, as one GameDay poster suggested) and USC are the only things standing between us and Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship Game. Gulp.
Or just talk about the fact that Jerry Kill had (another) seizure, that Tim Beckman's job at Illinois may be in dangerafter just one yaer, and that Danny Hope might be dunzo at Purdue even after ending the season on a three-game winning streak and getting them to a bowl game.
And if you just want to move on from football and get focused on hoops, there's one pretty tasty-looking game on tap tonight #2 Louisville vs. #5 Duke in the finals of the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas. It's on the NBC Sports Network at 8:30pm CT. Improbably, it's also the first meeting between Coach K and Rick Pitino since that Duke-Kentucky game in the NCAA Tournament where Christian Laettner stepped on a dude. Crazy.
Anyway, the usual rules apply.
