First, we can (mostly) agree that the Pac-10 is going to be jarringly crapulent this season. Oregon and USC are HS's top two Pac-10 teams in the BlogpLOL, and they don't show up until #17 and #18. Washington squeaks in at #25, and that's something of a leap of faith for a team that hasn't had a winning season since 2002.
Meanwhile, Arizona State joins Oregon in not having a quarterback, and the rest of the conference is a steaming stew of meh and worse-than-meh. There's no reason to like any single Pac-10 team this season. It's safely the worst BCS conference in the nation at this point.
And yet Iowa could still go down to Arizona Stadium and lose by like 23 points. It's Iowa on the road in September. It ends badly.
HELP ME RECONCILE THESE IDEAS. TELL ME IOWA WILL NOT PULL AN IOWA.
