Wouldn't you know it, some kind internet denizens have created a website with the ability to create an online bracket tourney, complete with the ability for multiple users to predict the outcomes. Kudos, bracketmaker.com. And it's also free, which meant I was pretty much required to create one for 2011 BHGP Marchifornication.
Click the title above and you'll be magically sent there. Or if you prefer the old copy-paste stuff: http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=389931&tclass=2011%20BHGP%20Marchifornication
So a couple ground rules:
1) I can't change the default scoring system of 1 pt for correctly guessing first round winner, 2 pts for second round, etc. So I'll leave that as is. Tiebreaker, if needed, will be turned over to BHGP editorial staff as they see fit.
2) To predict you'll need to register (just a username and email address) then click 'Predict It!' at the top left of your bracket.
3) I've set a deadline of predictions for 3/4/11. It says 12am so I'm not really sure if that's the very beginning or very end of that day. Either way, get them in before the games start!
4) Use your BHGP username or let us know which new username you've used. I have to figure out where to send PRIZES, after all.
4) PRIZES! PRIZES! PRIZES! -- Welp, I'm gonna have to think of something. I was thinking a shiny new bottle of Templeton Rye but I don't know if I can ship that across state borders (I care about legality). In fact, all kinds of prize ideas get screwed up with me being in SoCal. I'll take all suggestions.
Thanks to all who sign up and good luck. Except if I'm in the running near the end, then bad luck to all.
NOTE: I'll be doing my best to update this with winners and links to the actual posts as they happen, but it could be delayed a couple hours at times as I technically have a job
