Since U Been Gone From New Years' Bowls For Like 3 Years
No.
No. No. No, no, no, no.
Do not mix the spring game with Kelly Clarkson. No.
Is this supposed to be some sort of punishment? We finally get a concert at Legendary Kinnick Stadium, and it's her?! Don't get me wrong--this was awesome--but that's just about it. "Miss Independent" isn't about to fire me up for football. "Never Again"? Nope.
Oh well. It could be worse. At least we're not Kansas State--they're getting the fucking Goo Goo Dolls.

Holy shit they suck.

It could be worse.
Penn State is getting Fergie. Having 10 and 12 year old daughters my radio is, sadly, too often tuned to the pop station, and if anything out there is more intolerable, make me want to drive a screwdriver-into-my-eardrum worse than Fergie, I don't know what it is. Also, could you imagine if Fergie is introduced to JoePa? I'm getting to let someone with a far better sense of humor than I take that one.
At least Kelly Clarkson has a few songs that are borderline palatable the first 100 times. Of course Colorado gets Counting Crows. That's not bad. It would be even better were it 1995 and before they lead off the Shrek 2 soundtrack, but still. And ZZ Top. Someone (I can't remember, I mean I read it like five minutes ago) gets ZZ freaking Top.
Me, I'm just lookin' for some tush.
On the bright side
At least Fergie will bring her Adam's apple with "her".

If you're willing...
...to be lenient on the "far better sense of humor" qualifier, then I believe I could whip something up.
Fergie is terrifying.
This is fantastic
Let's hope they meet, and that JoePa does the world a favor and eats her brains.

He might.
As a zombie/member of the walking undead, JoePa's been sustaining on human brains for awhile now.
And thank you jebus.
I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this whole concert series and some of the artists they picked. Seriously. Who greenlighted this? Who thought this was a good idea? It's just bizarre.
