Wrestle-offs are basically the wrestling team's version of the open practices the football team holds during spring/fall practice -- somewhat fan-oriented exhibitions that give an interesting taste of the current state of competition, but shouldn't necessarily be treated as gospel. The takeaway: the drop-off at 125 may not be as bad as feared, the depth at 133 is interesting, the competition at 141 is fierce, and 157 seems improved. Programming note: The A Winner is You! series will return on Wednesday with a look at the 174-lb. weight class.
