HAMSTERDAM IS SUDDENLY CONSIDERING DISH NETWORK

Buried in all the news of Disney & Dish's new contract which will result in the Longhorn Network, and SEC Network getting national coverage is that Dish has now established a precedent that may make cord cutting even more popular. UPROXX has the rundown, but the basic idea is: In exchange for limiting usage of the AdHopper, Dish has convinced Disney (Or is ABC the parent company?) that they should allow Dish subscribers to view Disney channels on the internet.

Why is that a big deal? Because Sheriff Callie, DUH. No, that's not true. Because ESPN, of course. Potentially exciting stuff.
