There are two "worst parts" to his story:

1) It's a simple genetic inability to process HPV, the genital wart virus that probably 10-20% of all humans carry

2) There are more afflicted people

Anyway, Treeman apparently has had three separate surgeries in three years to remove wart/skin tissue to get him close to "normal". And he'll apparently need a skin graft and treatment every year for the rest of his life if he's to live. Go science/medicine. Shitty that he has to endure that every year, but only a couple decades ago he doesn't see the other side of 25 years old.
