Iowa City, Iowa: After the Orangebloods release of information about Mack Brown's future, further Sources close to all three programs have leaked information about the upcoming coaching carousel trade between Perennial Powers LSU and Texas, both trending downward recently, and the Big Ten's perennially over-achieving Iowa Hawkeyes.
Texas, after repeatedly being rebuffed by Nick Saban, decided to finally woo away one of the few coaches with a winning record against the championship coach, in Kirk Ferentz. Ferentz, a perennial name in the NFL coaching market, will reportedly be traded to Texas who are willing to take on his contract and buyout.
This will free up cap room for Iowa to make the big name hire of Les Miles, who is unhappy with the atmosphere at LSU after their run of recently dissapointing non-championship level football seasons. Iowa is reportedly sweetening the deal by trading Brian Ferentz, who was previously tight ends coach for the Patriots before serving a stint under his father at Iowa, as well as an undisclosed number of Offensive Line and Tight End prospects which Ferentz was about to bring to Iowa in a huge recruiting coupe.
Furthermore, Mack Brown will reportedly be moving into an undisclosed leadership and consulting position with the Hawkeyes of Iowa, to become the new Athletic Director after a short transition period. Brown spurned Texas offer of a similar position after they had informed him he would not be returning as the Longhorns head coach.
