Black Heart Gold Podcast 122: Lincoln-Douglas II, Electric Boogaloo

We attempt to settle the debate on horses in football with Bill Barnwell from Grantland.

In times of trouble, our nation has resolved its great political and philosophical issues as we only know how: By dueling. In circumstances were dueling is unavailable due to distance or less-than-ideal due to the desire to keep both participants alive, we instead engage in heated debate.

Our nation faces a crisis, and on tonight's Black Heart Gold Podcast, we try to resolve it through debate. Should there be horses in football? Adam Jacobi says no. Grantland's Bill Barnwell (@billbarnwell) says yes. I say that equine yoga sounds like an awesome idea.

So yes, we talk about former Hawkeyes in the NFL and which NFL team is most like Iowa. We discuss Riley Reiff's tiny little arms. We play a fun game where you switch the initials of professional football players. But, at the end of the day, it's mere prologue to the main event. HORSES: Yay or Neighhhhhhhhh?
