I stopped watching in the third quarter

"I personally stopped watching late in the third quarter. Perhaps that makes me a bad fan, I don't know. But I have a rule that when I start yelling at a TV or video game, I need to stop whatever I'm doing and turn it off." I in no way mean for this to call out the Husker blogger - there are fans of many different teams who've turned off a game early - but it probably does. Anyway, how does stopped watching mid-game? Especially during a close game. I'm confused.
