Might as well get this started early as Mexican't's last few Hamsterdams have already been blown out. The Olympics talk has been fast and furious over the last few days, and with several good reasons. It's great sporting, it's relatively rare, and it includes a U.S. volleyball player named Destinee Hooker. She can be seen here putting on a clinic against the lowly Golden Gophers, here completely naked (but tastefully!) in the ESPN Body issue, and here receiving her true fate.

ED. NOTE REGARDING OLYMPIC SPOILERS: Here's the deal -- I'm not going to say that people can't discuss Olympic results here during the day, even though that will spoil stuff airing on NBC later on. I will ask that you be courteous during the evening. Don't shout out the result to something immediately before it airs, for instance. Don't assume that everyone watching during the evening has seen the spoilered results from earlier in the day.
