Thank you for your suggestions for Iowa's nominees for the SB Nation College Football Hall of Fame -- it was a good discussion and you guys came up with some excellent ideas. So here's the deal: Hayden Fry and Chuck Long are two of our five nominees. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. They're legendary figures and we don't need to have any further debate about their merits. But we're going to open up the final three nominee spots to you guys. I compiled nominees in three categories -- offense, defense, and special teams -- based on the names you suggested in the comments of the earlier post.
First up, the offense.
OFFENSE
TE- Marv Cook Consensus All-American, two time All-Big Ten. Iowa’s all-time leader in receiving yards among TEs.
