I don't think "sad" really covers what happened in Connecticut, but I don't really know what words to use to express that feeling. It's sad, it's horrible, it's tragic, it's awful, it's senseless, it's a million other things.

I would mostly rather not talk about it here, although I understand that might be difficult. Please, just use your best discretion when posting comments. And do not post anything political. You can have political thoughts about this horrible event -- I'd be surprised if you didn't, honestly -- but this just isn't the correct forum to express those thoughts. We're not going to debate the merits of gun control laws or the Bill of Rights or anything else like that here. If you really want to do that, I promise you there is no shortage of other places available to you on the internet.

In the meantime, if you want to try and take your mind off things and watch sports or dumb movies or whatever else, be my guest. The usual rules apply.
