Iowa takes on North Carolina in the Championship game of the WNIT. Iowa beat Northern Illinois, Illinois State, and Middle Tennessee State to get to the finals, while UNC beat Davidson, Duquesne, and #25 Georgetown.
This Iowa women's team has a chance to do some special things this year, and I hope we can support their efforts by loading the seats this Sunday. Both Associate Head Coach Jan Jensen and Head Coach Lisa Bluder implored fans to come out to Carver for the championship game. The team set this game as one of their goals in the pre-season, so I know they would appreciate some raucous fan support!
To compound things, the students will be on Thanksgiving break, so we need as many people to come to Carver as possible! Don't hide yo' wife or yo' kids; bring them to Carver on Sunday to get loud!
Tickets are $5 for adults (over 18). Students and children under 18 get in FREE!
