BLACK HEART GOLD PODCAST 57: TURN THE PAGE
This is Ohio State's presumed starting quarterback.
For the season three premiere of Black Heart Gold Podcast, your hosts are joined by Luke Zimmermann (the artist formerly known as worstfan). Zimmermann is a writer for Every Day Should be Saturday, a writer and podcaster at Eleven Warriors, an Ohio State fan, and one of the preeeminent chillbros of the internet. Given that OSU had a bit of a dramatic offseason and that we don't see the Buckeyes this fall, we figured it's as good a time as any to preview the Evil Empire and the Big Ten at large.
And, yes, we know we're getting a trophy or something this morning. There will be a post just as soon as we get up and find out how big the bottle of corn syrup is going to be.

We will become more intensity!!! --What Reading Rambler thinks Tom Brands should do.
This guy from 11W/EDSBS sounds like
Brian Wilson of the SF Giants, and some other celebrity that I can’t seem to think of at the moment. Maybe Nick Swardson with a head-cold?

The guy on the left is smothering the state of Kentucky, and part of West Virginia, with his MANmaries.
Sorry if I took a simple quip that was meant as a rebuke for a single-minded poster and turned it into a completely uninteresting and inconsequential tangent.

A giant bottle of corn syrup
would be awesome. And is guaranteed to be better than whatever they have come up with. Whatever. We still have Floyd. Oh wait….. dammit.

The winner gets several trains of this:

Mmm, corn sweetener, man, that sounds good in theory, doesn’t it?

I'll be honest (and I know I'm biased), but I'm surprised that DJK has not been signed by anyone.
In related skepticism of GMs, the Bears signed Roy Williams.
meh
This will have the same effect on the Bears
as if they’d signed the basketball coach of the same name.
Less memorable than Sam Okey's Hawkeye career.

Didn't DJK sign with the Eagles?
Here is an article about where some of the players from Iowa have signed.
I think Morehouse or someone at the Gazette
found out that it was a rumor (that DJK signed with Philly).
It is not in the ESPN NFL transactions page:

On that transactions page:
Moeaki got put on the PUP list. I know we are all shocked.
Sash (Giants), Vandervelde (Eagles), Stanzi (Chiefs), Reisner (Vikings), Tarpinian (Patriots) appear to have signed contracts (not sure about time-lengths).
Yanda signed a 5 year deal with the Ravens, and Gallery signed with the Seahawks.

I guess Klug (Titans) and Clayborn (Bucs) have also signed (thanks, Hoya, for the Claborn post).
