The recent SBNation re-draft of college athletic programs into new conferences, as well as a CNN/SI re-draft of NBA players from past and present, have inspired me to inquire to anyone here if they would be interested in doing the same. We could do so with current and historical Hawkeye football players. We could probably do the same with Hawkeye mens' basketball players. If I knew a little more about Iowa wrestlers or athletes, we could do the same with other sports. If you are interested in participating in the Hawkeye football re-draft, just say so in the comments. If we get enough people (4 would probably be the bare minimum, 6 or 8 or 10 would be better, and if we have to, we can go to 12. After that, maybe we'd have to have groups as the "owners.") I am in favor of handling most/all of this business on a fanpost/fanshot, rather than have a bunch of "strangers" start sharing e-mail addresses. To Vint, Jacobi, Ross, Horace, and any other BHGP founders/contributors, if I am stepping on toes with this idea, just say so in the comments, and this fanshot can be deleted.
